Just wondering how deep AJs lake is? and what would be the match winning bait and tactics for Saturday!

I am fishing a club match on Saturday with no previous experience at Candy Corner so I wanted to make sure my rigs and bait were up to scratch before I get there Wink

the deepest part you will find on ajs is around 6ft,you will find this depth at around 7mtrs out and stays at this depth all the way to the islands, you will find around 2-3ft in the margins in most pegs.the tactics been used in the opens are pellet wag tight to an island fishing inbetween 1-3ft deep using banded 8mm pellet feeding the same also bomb n 8mm pellet or meat, again best results come when fishing tight to the islands.if you fish the pole best methods are feeding 4mm feed pellets with a 6mm expander on the hook at around 9mtrs also working well is 13mtrs shallow with 6mm cubed meet for feed n hook...............try margins in last hour with pellet, meat, corn, paste this normally throws a few lumps up,good luck.

Cheers, It's not as deep as I thought, People who go there told me it was 6-10 in places so I'm glad my current rig's are long enough!

I'm hoping meat /corn is the key as ideally I prefer to use it Wink and let's hope that luck rubs off Cheesy
