May I first say a big thanks to Jamie and his Dad for the two great days fishing on Jakes recently (29th March and 2nd June)
I have just started fishing 10 weeks ago after a 20+ year break and I have seen the fishery develop. I used to work at Ellerholme farm which is just past the complex before I went self employed in the dairy buisness. To be honest I have been elsewhere since I started fishing as Candy looked always busy and due to lack of practice I didnt want to spoil anyones day by splashing around getting used to my new gear etc, so qiet venues were selected till I reached a degree of competence and confidence.

Well I arived on Friday first thing and had a great day plenty of fish in fantastic surroundings, so impressed I came Monday and met two anglers from Thurnscoe who chatted and exchanged tips throughout the day.
Ones thing for sure I will be coming now on a regular basis, and it gets better i'm only half a mile from my home!!

Things can't be bad.

Thanks again and all the best.

A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.

I'm so glad you've enjoyed your fishing, and glad to see you fishing again after such a massive break.
